National Ice Centre (NIC), Nottingham

CSG provides full Crowd Management Services to the National Ice Centre/Motorpoint Arena Nottingham. CSG was awarded the tender in 2013 in a national open tender and have been the chosen security provider since that date. We have recently been awarded an extension of our contract until 2020.

CSG has provided a detailed and full crowd management plan to enable the complete crowd management for the NIC from start to finish. We are involved from the time the event books at the arena and work closely with Local Authorities and counter-terrorism to ensure an effective solution is provided to the NIC.

The Motorpoint Arena is an industry leading 10000 seater arena which hosts world-famous acts such as Metallica, Mumford and Sons, Rod Stewart, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Pink and many more as well as hosting the Elite League Nottingham Panthers Hockey Team.

We provide a full complement of staff on event days who carry all functions of security and customer safety at the Motorpoint Arena. We are also one of the few companies in the country who look after both FOH and Backstage security for every artist who visits the arena which increases our scope of work and depth of knowledge making this venue one of the safest in the country.
